Kullu

Once known as Kulanthpitha, meaning the end of the habitable world, Kullu is one of the hottest tourist destination of Himachal Pradesh in North India. Blessed with a serene atmosphere and natural bounties.

Shopping buffs can find the region pregnant with shopping alternatives. The entire Kullu is famous for Kullu Shawls. Quite expensive but worth treasuring are the Angora and Pashmina shawls. In addition to shawls, you can buy traditional Kullu caps and blankets.

How To Reach Kullu
The nearest airport to Kullu is at Bhuntar, which is 10 km south of Kullu. Bhuntar is well connected to Delhi by air. The nearest railway sataion is at Jogindernagar (95 km) if coming by railways. Kullu has a good bus service for Shimla, Delhi, Chandigarh, Mandi, Manali, Manikaran, Nagar, Bajura, and Dharamsala if you prefer road travel. So reaching Kullu is not an issue for any traveler.
