Explore Romania - A Dazzling Country
Travelling from place to place in archaic times seems as an irrelevant thing. But, now-a-days, many people want to get the exposure of different places and environment of different countries. Romania is one of those places where tourist population is increasing at a rapid rate. It is a country rich in lifestyles, culture etc. which is not vanished even now. Though, it is increasing day by day. Here you will experience various landscapes, adorable culture, appealing natural beauty and historical monuments as well. It offers too much to all the visitors whether they are Indians or Foreigners.
This itinerary can be customized according to the person’s need.
Day 01: Arrival in Romania
On arrival at the Bucharest airport only, you will be able to measure the depth of beauty of Romania and its surrounded places. Here you will get the warm welcome by our tour operators. They transfer you to the hotel. After having some rest, our team will be ready to take you for the Sightseeing tour, including the most interesting sites in Bucharest like: - The Revolution Square, The Opera Square, Victoria Ave and The Triumphal Arch. After visiting these places, get a sigh of relief for some time. Then there will be a walking tour of the city from where you can do shopping also. In the night, take rest in a 5- star hotel with the dreams of the whole day.
Day 02: Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran - Brasov
Again excited for this morning then you are right as this morning makes you happier than any other day. As on this day, we will cover three beautiful destinations. First, we will take you to visit The Parliament’s Palace which second highest after the world famous Pentagon, former house of Ceausescu, this building is most impressive as the glory of it is mentioned in it itself.
After visiting the above places, we will drive to Sinaia, famous as the “Pearl of the Carpathians’’ due to the beauty of its natural setting and the elegance of its architecture. Here we will take you to visit the Peles Castle which is the major destination of this place.
Then, we will drive on to Bran to visit the famous castle built as a fortress named as "Dracula's Castle”. For many years, it was the museum for prince Clad.
Again we will continue drive to Brasov. It is surrounded by the peaks of the Southern Carpathian Mountains which gives to its main attraction. It is one of the most visited places in Romania. There will be a walking tour through the old town centre, including the Black Church, the Council Square, the Hirche House, the baroque style buildings from the Austro-Hungarian times. After this adventurous day, get back to the hotels for overnight rest in Brasov.
Day 03: Brasov - Viscri - Sighisoara - Brasov
This day will give you the knowledgeable experience as well as surprise of exorable places. We will drive to Viscri village, to visit Viscri Fortified Church which is one of the designated sites of UNESCO-listed historic churches in Romania. This church has its own importance as it was one of the properties of Prince of Wales at the ancient time. Now it becomes a tourist place.
After visiting that, we will drive to Sighisoara, the best preserved medieval citadel in Europe; it is also a UNESCO heritage. This citadel will definitely puzzled your mind as it is a gem with nine towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses and ornate churches rivals the historic streets of Old Prague or Vienna for atmospheric magic.
Others places of visits include: - the Church on the Hill, Venetian House and the Church of the Dominican Monastery, the Vlad Dracul House is located in Sighisoara’s Citadel Square, close to the Clock Tower. A wrought-iron dragon hangs above the entrance. At the end of the day, we will move to the Brasov. Stay overnight in a hotel in Brasov.
Day 04: Brasov - Sibiu - Bucharest
On 4th day of this tour, we will drive to Sibiu, one of the oldest towns in Transylvania. It is a guided walking tour of the medieval town (the Main Square, the Evangelical Church, and the Liars' Bridge etc.). After visiting that, we will proceed to Sibiu.
Sibiu was once one of the easternmost cities of the glittering Hapsburg Empire was European Cultural Capital in 2007. First of all, we will visit the old streets. Then we will move forward to see the main monuments like Bruckenthal Palace, in Baroque style, the infamous Lies Bridge made on a road that connects the lower city with the upper city, the Saxon Cathedral building that retains more than a precious fresco of Crucifixion from 1445, the Catholic Cathedral built in Baroque German style at the beginning of the eighteenth century, the main squares of the city (Big Square, Little Square, Huet Square) and the seat of the Christian Orthodox Cathedral. Also get ready to visit Astra museum. Occupying an area of 0.96 square kilometers, it is the largest open air museum in Romania and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. It contains houses and workshops of the traditional Romanian folk culture from the pre-industrial era. Evening will be free for leisure activities or you will go with us to take the glamorous view of two artificial lakes with over 10 km of walkways between them. After that, we will drive along the picturesque Olt Valley to Cozia, on the gorges of the river Olt. Also visit the 16th century church Cozia built by Vlad Dracula’s grandfather, Mircea the Old, on the shore of the river.
Then arrival in Bucharest. Stay overnight in a 4 stars hotel in Bucharest. Also you can explore the nightlife of old Bucharest.
Day 05: Departure
This will be the last day of this hilarious and affable Romanian tour. On this day, you can do shopping for your loved ones. You will definitely remember this tour in your whole life whether it is monuments and glorified places or our adequate services. You will be transfer to the airport by our team.
