Overview

The Greek War of Independence began in 1821 and concluded in 1830 when England, France, and Russia forced the Ottoman Empire to grant Greece its independence under a European monarch, Prince Otto of Bavaria.

Day 01 : Arrival:
Meet at the Athens airport and transfer to hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Athens is an amazing city to discover on your own with its numerous museums, park and the shopping area of kolonaki, Hermou, Voukourestiou street, Monastiraki and Plaka. Overnight in Athens Hotel.

Day 02: ATHENS SIGHTSEEING:
(Breakfast)After breakfast pickup from the hotel for your Half day morning tour. See Syntagma square, the house of Parliament, the Memorial to the unknown soldier, the National Library, see the hadrains arch, visit the temple of Olympic Games of the modren era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpeiece of the Golden age of Athens:the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Erectheion and finally the harmony between material and spirit,the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the ststue found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era, the new museum of Acropolis(Mondays Closed). Remainder osf the day at leisure. Overnight in Athens Hotel.

Day 03: ONE DAY CRUISE(AEGINA-POROS-HYDRA):
(Breakfast, Lunch)After breakfast, pickup from the hotel and transfer to the port for the full day cruise tot he 3 Saronic islands of Aegina, Poros, Hydra. Lunch served on board. See and visit all 3 islands, each different in character. Arrive back at the port in the evening and transfer to the hotel. Overnights in Athens hotel.

Day 04: 2 DAYS DELPHI - METEORA TOUR: ATHENS DELPHI KALAMBAKA (METEORA):
(Breakfast, Dinner) After breakfast, pickup from the hotel. Leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Pamassus, arrive in Delphi, and visit the archaeological site. See the ruins of the sancturay of Apollo Pythios, the treasury of the Athenians. In the afternoon leave Delphi for an interesting trip through Central Greece to Kalambaka(Meteora). Dinner in the hotel.Overnight in Kalambaka(Meteora)hotel..

Day05: 2 DAYS DELPHI - METEORA TOUR:KALAMBAKA(METEORA)ATHENS:
(Breakfast) After breakfast, visit Meteora with its impresive scenery, ageless monasteries, suspended between the earth and sky. Inside, see priceless historical and religious treasures.Return  to the Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae. Overnight in Athens hotel.

Day 06: DEPARTURE
(Breakfast) Transfer to the airport included or, extend your stay in Greece.
